New details revealed on Luna Park aboard Dubai-bound MSC World Europa

MSC Cruises has revealed new details about the Luna Park multifunctional entertainment venue aboard its largest-ever cruise ship MSC World Europa, which is sailing from Dubai for the coming cruise season.

MSC Cruises partnered with RWS Entertainment Group to bring new technology to MSC World Europa in an effort to elevate the travel experience for passengers.

Luna Park is a 300-seat venue that will host a wide range of shows for kids and adults, including movies, game shows and themed parties.

During the day, it will host activities such as a VR Drone Academy, a Digital Dance Academy and a Breakfast Rave, while at night it will feature shows, movies, and various themed parties.

MSC World Europa is currently operating a floating hotel in Doha during the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but will reposition to Dubai on December 20th, to begin a winter cruise season sailing roundtrip from Dubai in the Arabian Gulf.

On each of these cruises the ship will make calls in Abu Dhabi and Sir Bani Yas in the UAE, Dammam in Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

MSC World Europa is the largest cruise ship ever to sail in the Middle East. She accommodates 5,260 passengers and takes inspiration from Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class vessels.

The ship has a split superstructure at the stern, the world’s longest dry slide at sea descending from the pool deck to the promenade, more than 40 restaurants, bars and cafes, and a plethora of entertainment options.

In addition to Luna Park, MSC Cruises also revealed details about the Robotron ride debuting aboard its upcoming cruise ship MSC Seascape, the latest in its ground-breaking Seaside-class of cruise ships.

The Robotron onboard MSC Seascape is a robotic ride with personalised music and lighting for up to three guests.

The robotic arm extends almost 175 feet above the water and then flips upside down, moving in all directions. It is designed to offer an unobstructed 360-degrees view and riders can even choose between a family-friendly and high-intensity option.

The Seascape is scheduled for a series of cruises across Spain and in November this year. It is set to depart from Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy on November 19th and Barcelona, Spain on November 21st.
