Celebrity Cruises has announced new live shows and interactive experiences that are set to debut aboard its new ship Celebrity Beyond in April, 2022.
The new shows include technology spectaculars, dance and acrobatics showcases and big stage Broadway-style productions, while the ship will also feature five late-night entertainment venues, including a speakeasy-style Jazz Club.
The three new shows will debut in the ship’s theatre, which Celebrity Cruises says will be the largest in the fleet, as well as one of the most technologically advanced.

“When you have a ship named ‘Beyond,’ it’s a promise to our guests to take every aspect of the ship beyond anything we’ve done before,” said Brian Abel, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations, Celebrity Cruises.
“We’ve set the stage with so many experiential and imaginative offerings that I have never been more excited to debut our entertainment programming,” he added.
The new shows include Elements, a journey through the five elements – air, water, earth, fire and ether – utilizing technology, visuals, acrobatic performances and fashion-inspired costumes.
It was co-directed by Marck Stevens and Liam Lunniss, while the show’s choreography was created by Got to Dance winner Lukas McFarlane.
Air will be blown into large sheets of flowing fabric to create dancing art along with a custom air fountain that floats over the audience. These air sculptures were created by Brooklyn-based artist Daniel Wurtzel.
The second show, Arte, combines dance, high-flying acrobatics and visual effects with the sculptural work of Brazilian artist Rubem Robierb and choreography by London’s West End creative leader Kendra Horburgh (known for & Juliet).
The third show, Stage Door, will make passengers feel like they have “an exclusive backstage pass into the heart of the biggest Broadway and West End musicals”, according to Celebrity Cruises.
The performances will be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra recorded in the London Palladium and brought to life through the use of technology by the director/choreographer of West End’s Thriller Live!, Gary Lloyd.
A 110-foot curved 4K LED screen wraps around the stage, which is complete with five moving panels that open and move for an immersive visual experiences and dramatic talent entrances and exits.
Beyond the theatre, the ship will also feature a number of late night entertainment hubs, such as The Club, which will introduce a new concept show, along with two new live music nights.
Entertainment at The Club:
Concept Show: The Jazz Joint at The Club is a speakeasy show concept featuring jazz tunes with powerhouse vocalists, dancers, specialty acts and comedy. It was produced by the team behind the entertainment at The Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Live music nights: Rocked, a fast-paced, interactive concert for the “young at heart” performed by vocalists and orchestra members from The Theatre; and Bring the Brass, a live tribute to the iconic bands of brass spanning the decades.
Elsewhere on the ship, passengers will find entertainment haunts that have become iconic features of Celebrity Beyond’s sister ships Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex, such as Eden, a a three-story space with floor-to-ceiling windows that offers multi-sensory experiences that change with the day.
These forms of entertainment go from what Celebrity calls “chillful mornings” to “playful afternoons” to “wonderful evenings”.
They include everything from meditation, to a “Create and Pour” art and wine tasting class. By night, Wonder at Eden will debut six uniquely curated experiences including three new cast shows.

Grand Plaza
At the heart of the ship, guests will find the Grand Plaza lobby, complete with a chandelier that comes alive at night with eight new light shows choreographed to music over the central bar area.
Up on the Resort Deck, the Rooftop Garden will feature morning Tai Chi, outdoor movies in the afternoon and dancing under the stars in the evening.

Then there are the kids and teens facilities, such as Camp at Sea, a dedicated space for children ages 3-12 that will feature a new partnership with “Adventures in Cardboard”.
Activities will blend competitive play and cooperative storytelling through cardboard works of art and imagination, while a vlogging class for children utilizes Go Pros to create a video showcase. A variety of STEM activities involving coding, the ocean and world geography are also available.
For older children between 13 and 17 years old, the Teen Club will offer Silent Disco parties, digital trivia, game night challenges and more.

Celebrity Beyond
Celebrity Beyond will depart on her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK on April 27th, 2022. The 10-night Western Europe itinerary will call in Bordeaux, France; Lisbon, Portugal; and Seville, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona, Spain.
Celebrity Beyond will then offer a variety of Mediterranean cruises, including 9-night Italian Riviera and France itineraries and 10-night Greek Isles itineraries until early October when she will reposition to the Caribbean.
