New Celebrity Ascent to headline 8-ship Caribbean line-up for Celebrity

Celebrity Cruises‘ new Edge-class cruise ship Celebrity Ascent will headline an 8-ship line-up for the cruise line in the Caribbean during the 2023/24 winter season.

Celebrity Ascent will sail a range of 4 to 12-night itineraries, with her maiden voyage scheduled for December 3rd, 2023.

She is the fourth ship in the Edge-class, joining Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Beyond.

She’ll depart Port Everglades on her maiden voyage, sailing to the Eastern Caribbean with calls in Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Celebrity Ascent will then commence a series of round-trip cruises from the cruise line’s dedicated Terminal 25 at Port Everglades.

These 7-night Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries will depart every Sunday.

“We’re so excited to debut the spectacular Celebrity Ascent in the serene setting of the Caribbean where she and all of her guests will have their moment in the sun,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, CEO & President, Celebrity Cruises.

“She will be joined by her seven sisters all offering different experiences both onboard and ashore,” she added.

In addition to Celebrity Ascent, Celebrity Apex and Beyond will also be cruising the Caribbean for the 2023/24 winter season.

Beginning in November 2023, Celebrity Apex will sail rotating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Ft. Lauderdale calling in San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Puerto Plata.

On her Western Caribbean itineraries, she’ll call in West, Florida; Grand Cayman, and Belize.

Celebrity Beyond will sail 9, 10 and 11-night voyages to the Southern Caribbean, while Celebrity Silhouetteand Celebrity Constellation will offer itineraries ranging from 4 to 11 nights.

Celebrity Summit will homeport in Miami, sailing short, 4- and 5-night Western Caribbean cruises, and Celebrity Reflection and Equinox will sail 8-night Eastern Caribbean and 6-night Western Caribbean cruises.
