Oceania Cruises reveals dining, lounges and bars aboard new Allura-class Vista

Oceania Cruises has released new details about its upcoming Allura-class ship, Vista, which will be its largest to date.

The first of two all-new Allura-class cruise ships for Oceania Cruises, Vista, will feature signature lounges, bars, and wellness facilities and a range of new-to-the-line amenities.

Vista is the first of two new 1,200-guest Allura-class ships that are being constructed by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for Oceania Cruises.

At 67,000-gross-tons, the luxury vessels will be the largest ever built for the line, and the sixth and seventh ships to join the fleet.

Vista will set sail in 2023, while her unnamed her sister ship will debut in 2025.

“Our guests have a passion for new experiences and destinations while also loving to travel to familiar places and seeing them from new directions,” said Bob Binder, President & CEO of Oceania Cruises.

“That drove every aspect of designing Vista, to present a sense of familiarity imbued with unique elements and fresh perspectives,” he added.

Vista has been designed to deliver the brand’s hallmark small-ship luxury experience, even though she is larger than Oceania’s current largest ships Marina and Riviera (admittedly, only by 1,000-gross tons).

Vista features a wide variety of social, recreation, and wellness spaces across six of the ship’s 11 guest decks.

She has been designed with a mixture of both grand and cozy spaces so that guests have a room for every mood and purpose, from relaxation and quiet reading, to evening cocktails, or late-night dancing.

Vista’s best-in-class culinary experiences and spacious, residentially inspired suites and staterooms will be revealed in the coming weeks, with her inaugural voyages opening for sale in September 2021.

Public rooms that have become synonymous with Oceania Cruises will return aboard Vista, such as the Grand Staircase in the social heart of the ship, along with a redesigned Martini Bar and a Grand Lounge that evokes the feeling of a private club.

Vista’s casino will be even more elegant than those found on other ships in the fleet, with art nouveau-inspired touches, while the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center offers a host of tranquil treatment areas, state-of-the-art workout and personal training spaces as well as a spacious new salon and barbershop.

On the upper decks, Horizons Lounge, the ship’s de facto observation lounge, will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping 180-degree views, with Afternoon Tea served here, along with live music later in the evening.

The huge pool area will feature modern beach-club cabanas and a variety of textures and soothing natural tones that come together in a natural oasis to reconnect with nature.
