Middle East and Africa cruises feature on Costa Cruises 2022/23 program

Costa Cruises has released its 2022/23 cruise itineraries, with destinations including Middle East and Africa cruises, as well as Europe, the Mediterranean and South America.

The Middle East and Africa cruises include voyages aboard Costa Deliziosa, Costa Diadema and Costa Favolosa.

Costa Deliziosa’s World Tour, departing on January 11th, 2023 from Savona, will visit Europe, Asia, Africa and America. Costa Diadema will visit Greece and Turkey, or Israel and Egypt, and Costa Favolosa will sail to Morocco.

In May, 2022, the new Costa Toscana will debut in the Mediterranean, offering one-week cruises to discover Italy, France and Spain, with a long call in Ibiza.

Costa Smeralda will offer week-long cruises in the Western Mediterranean, alongside Costa Pacifica which will also be in the Western Mediterranean, sailing to Italy, France and Spain.

In all Mediterranean ports, the Italian brand will offer its new “longest ever” excursion, visiting places that are difficult to reach for guests.

Onboard dining will be enriched by a further renewed food experience, the cruise line said, with an offer of dishes linked to the destinations and signed by a Michelin starred chef.

Costa Smeralda will continue to sail in the Western Mediterranean for the winter, joined in the autumn byCosta Luminosa and Costa Fortuna, offering short cruises.

Also, in the fall, the Costa Fascinosa will visit Portugal and Spain.

Costa said it will have three ships sailing week-long cruises in the Eastern Mediterranean. Costa Deliziosa and Costa Luminosa will visit Greek islands, with Luminosa also visiting Croatia. Costa Magica will visit Greece and Malta.

Four ships will be cruising in Northern Europe.

Costa Fortuna will offer two-week cruises to Iceland, or alternatively to Ireland, Scotland and England.

Costa Favolosa and Costa Diadema will sail one-week cruises to the Baltic capitals, calling for three days inStockholm and two in St. Petersburg, and in the Norwegian fjords.

Costa Fascinosa’s cruise itineraries include 12-day itineraries up to the North Cape and 9-day sailings in the Baltic Sea.

The 2022-2023 winter season will include the return of the company’s grand voyages onboard Costa Luminosa, including two 50-day cruises, from Genoa to Buenos Aires and from Buenos Aires to Genoa, even going up the Amazon River.

The Costa Magica will offer two-week cruises to the Canary Islands and the Azores.

While the itineraries released by Cost Cruises include Middle East and Africa cruises for 2022/23, they did not include details about its annual Middle East cruise season out of Dubai.

Costa Cruises said these itineraries, along with its Caribbean and South American cruise season itineraries, will be released soon.
