“What could be better than a new luxury ship, ready to take guests on a journey around one of the world’s most beautiful and impressive coastlines? Not only is this extremely significant to us as a business, but also to efforts to boost the UK’s local tourism industry,” she added.

Staterooms received new Xhale bedding during the refurbishment.
The 122,000-gross ton ship carries 2,852 passengers, but will sail with reduced capacity, giving passengers more space to enjoy her 8 restaurants and 12 cafes and bars, as well as the theatre, casino, night club, spa, kids clubs and plenty of other amenities.
The ship was launched in 2011, but completed a major refit and refurbishment after a decade in service in March last year.
The refit introduced The Retreat all-inclusive area for suite guests that includes an exclusive 24-hour lounge with complimentary beverages and concierge services, as well as a new dining venue, Craft Social, which offers more than 40 craft beers, wine and cocktails on tap.
A new cocktail bar was also introduced, and the existing Lawn Club, Sunset Bar and Fitness Centre have been updated, along with all other public areas and cabins across the ship, which got new soft furnishings and repairs. The ship’s staterooms received new Xhale bedding, which offer a more comfortable night’s sleep.
