Seabourn will sail two new wellness cruises in 2019 and 2020, one to Dubai and the other to the South Pacific.
The 2019 Seabourn cruise to Dubai aboard Seabourn Ovation will depart Piraeus (Athens) on November 13th, 2019 and arrive in Dubai on December 2nd.
Seabourn Ovation is among the smaller class of ships in the Seabourn fleet, making her more intimate and personal for guests

While the uber-luxury Ovation cruises through the Med, transits the Suez Canal and steams south along the Red Sea and Oman coast, lectures, discussions, classes, and demonstrations will be led on-board by Dr. Weil and four other experts in integrative medicine.
“Wellness is a growing phenomenon – and rightly so – as people around the world seek to live better, healthier, and more mindfully for the benefit of their overall well-being,” said Seabourn President Richard Meadows.
Aqaba and its remote and iconic landscapes will be a highlight of the cruise
The 19-night Athens to Dubai cruise, called “Route to Ancient Wellness” will follow ancient trading routes in the Mediterranean to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, then through the Suez Canal to Aqaba (Petra), Muscat, Ras Al Khaimah, Sir Bani Yas Island, Doha, and then Dubai.
That sailing includes the following experts: Ann Marie Chiasson, the interim director of the fellowship in integrative medicine, at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson; Steven Gurgevich, clinical assistant professor, at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, and director of the Mind-Body Clinic; Russell Greenfield, clinical professor of medicine, at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine; and Daphne Miller, founder of the Health from the Soil Up Initiative.
Seabourn Ovation is one of two cruise ships from the line that will cruise from Dubai during 2019. Both Ovation and Seabourn Encore will cruise from the city twice during the year.
Dr Weil has a long-standing partnership with Seabourn and was involved in the design of the fleet’s spas

After its “Route to Ancient Wellness” cruise from Athens to Dubai, Seabourn Ovation will depart on a 33-night grand voyage from Dubai to Hong Kong, visiting 15 ports along the way.
This itinerary can also be booked as a shorter 19-night voyage between Dubai and Singapore, with Seabourn Ovation arriving in Singapore on December 20th, 2019.
Seabourn Ovation is identical to her sister ships in the Seabourn fleet, with five dining options, and 5 bars and cafes, two pool areas, 6 whirlpools, four lounges, and a casino and spa.
She’s a small ship by modern standards, carrying just 600 passengers, but her staterooms and public spaces are magnificent. See our full review of her slightly smaller fleetmate Seabourn Quest for a look inside the Seabourn cruise experience.
