Cruise representatives Discover the World open new Dubai office

Discover the World, a leader in global sales, marketing and distribution, with Holland America Line, Seabourn and Windstar among its clients, has opened a new Middle East office in Dubai this month.

Lakshmi Durai has been appointed as Discover the World Director in Dubai. With more than 30 years of travel experience in the Middle East region she has represented Royal Caribbean’s three brands, established her own sales and marketing company Travel Matrix in 2015 and successfully launched a cruise platform called CRUISEXPLORE, promoting more than 15 cruise brands across the region.

“We are delighted to have Lakshmi and her team as our newest members of the Discover family,” said Ian Murray, Discover the World’s Executive Vice President.  “They have all the key sales ingredients we seek—high energy, market knowledge and experience and passion for travel that will accelerate our sales delivery across this important region.”
