Celebrity Reflection to debut 13 new venues in major 2027 refit and refurbishment

Celebrity Cruises has announced a major transformation for Celebrity Reflection, introducing 13 new venues as part of a comprehensive refurbishment ahead of the ship’s return to the Caribbean in 2027.

The overhaul makes Celebrity Reflection the second Solstice-class ship to undergo the line’s fleet modernisation programme, following Celebrity Solstice.

The refurbishment incorporates venues first introduced on the Edge-class ships, alongside concepts that recently debuted on Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Xcel.

The redesigned ship will sail a programme of three- to eight-night Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, visiting destinations including Key West, the Bahamas, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Turks and Caicos, and Grand Cayman.

“Celebrity Cruises is constantly dreaming up ways to innovate and elevate what we deliver for our guests, which is what makes this fleet modernisation programme so much more than a refresh,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, President, Celebrity Cruises.

“With Celebrity Reflection, we’re evolving the guest experience in meaningful ways – introducing 13 new spaces designed to help guests relax, explore, and connect in ways that feel effortless and unforgettable,” she added.

One of the most significant additions is the Grand Plaza, a three-deck central venue inspired by the Edge-class ships. The space will feature a centrally positioned Martini Bar beneath a suspended chandelier, with live music, performances and entertainment scheduled throughout the day and evening.

Celebrity is also redesigning the ship’s main outdoor areas with the introduction of the Celebrity Pool Club. The refreshed pool deck will feature expanded seating, additional shade, daybeds, two bars, and new poolside programming.

Redesigned Pool Club

Two new casual dining venues will be introduced alongside the pool. Orange Peel Bar & Grille will serve burgers, grilled dishes, and frozen cocktails, while Tacos del Sol will offer a build-your-own taco concept featuring Mexican-inspired flavours.

The upper deck will also be transformed with the addition of Sunset Park, a landscaped outdoor space designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring lawn games, meditation sessions, outdoor films, live music, private cabanas, and the new Sunset Park Café and adjacent Sunset Bar.

Several entertainment venues that debuted on the recently refurbished Celebrity Solstice will also be added to Reflection.

The Boulevard Lounge will provide a 125-seat performance venue hosting duelling pianos, karaoke, games, and live shows, while the adjoining Boulevard Bar will serve cocktails before and after performances.

The Parlor, another addition from Celebrity Solstice, combines a sports bar and gaming lounge with board games, billiards, darts, and large-screen sporting events, alongside cocktails, comfort food, and milkshakes.

Dining will also be expanded with three new speciality restaurants.

Trattoria Rossa, first introduced aboard Celebrity Solstice, will focus on Roman cuisine, featuring handmade pasta, traditional Italian dishes, and tableside preparation.

The Fine Cut Steakhouse, previously exclusive to the Edge Series, will make its Solstice-class debut aboard Celebrity Reflection, serving dry-aged steaks and seafood.

Completing the new dining venues is Bora, a Mediterranean-inspired rooftop restaurant first introduced aboard Celebrity Xcel. The venue will offer brunch during the day before transitioning into an evening dining experience centred on shareable plates and tableside preparation.

Guests staying in The Retreat suites will benefit from enhancements including a redesigned Retreat Lounge and an expanded Retreat Sundeck featuring a larger hot tub.

The refurbishment will also include upgrades to a range of existing public spaces, including Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, the Casino, Art Gallery, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, Pool Bar, Passport Bar, the Fitness Centre, and Camp at Sea, while Luminae and Blu will continue to serve suite and AquaClass guests respectively.

Following its relaunch, Celebrity Reflection will operate year-round Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. The ship will also host the line’s 2027 President’s Cruise, sailing from May 10th to May 14th.
