V&A Waterfront, Cape Town
TUI Cruises will sail its first-ever adults-only cruise in 2025, with Mein Schiff 6 departing Cape Town on November 17th for Singapore.
The 23-night voyage takes guests around South Africa’s coast, visiting Port Elizabeth, before venturing out into the Indian Ocean bound for Mauritius, Sri Lanka and finally Singapore.
The Adults Only: Pure Relaxation in the Indian Ocean itinerary also offers extensive days at sea, with daily programming that focuses on relaxation and self-immersion. A highlight will be an enrichment program with Eva Wellner, a mental coach and expert in nutrition and sport.
The company also announced themes for other cruises sailing around Africa during the 2025/26 winter season, which will see several AIDA ships repositioning via South Africa instead of the Suez Canal due to the ongoing secuity concerns in the Red Sea.
Departing from Palma de Mallorca, Mein Schiff 4 will host the Mein Schiff Film Festival at Sea, with a programme of national and international film highlights.
The 20-night cruise features visits to Gibraltar, Tenerife and Walvis Bay before arriving in Cape Town, South Africa.
Other themed sailings include the Time for Yoga and Self-Love aboard Mein Schiff 5 in November, which departs Palma de Mallorca bound for Cape Town.
TUI is also planning a culinary- and entertainment-focused cruise onboard Mein Schiff 5 in December, sailing along the East Coast of Africa.
The Logbook of Aromas – The Spice Route cruise is intended to be a journey “where discovery is on enjoyment, entertainment and exotic aromas”, according to the cruise line.
Mein Schiff 6 is also scheduled to offer a knowledge-themed cruise in late October, which was designed to capture the diversity of Africa through lectures, readings and multi-session shows.
In addition to these themed voyages, Mein Schiff 4 will also be sailing a 20-night cruise from Cape Town to Dubai on October 21st, 2025 as part of her repositioning to the Arabian Gulf for the 2025/26 cruise season in Dubai.
Mein Schiff 5 will sail a shorter Cape Town to Dubai cruise of 16-nights on December 2nd, 2025, as TUI Cruises undertakes its largest Middle East cruise season to date with two ships deployed simultaneously for the first time.
