TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff Relax sister ship to be called Mein Schiff Flow

The second ship in TUI Cruises’ new InTUItion class will be called Mein Schiff Flow, the cruise line announced in a press release.

A sister to the Mein Schiff Relax, the new 4,000-guest ship is under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, with delivery scheduled for 2026.

Mein Schiff Flow will be designed with environmental operations in mind, running on LNG and capable of being retrofitted for bio fuels in the future.

The ship will offer 17 bars, lounges and restaurants, mirroring the light and open design of her sister ship Mein Schiff Relax.

Mein Schiff Flow will feature an open, airy design like her sister ship Mein Schiff Relax

Her sister ship, Mein Schiff Relax, offers multiple dining options including the French-inspired Sur Mer Bistro, a Greek Taverna called Dionysos, and the Italian Pane e Sole Bistro & Bar.

Other notable dining options include the Fugu sushi bar and the Høfde Steakhouse, as well as The X-Coast restaurant exclusively for suite guests, who also have access to a private sun deck and lounges.

Bars such as the X-Bar, Agora Bar, and Captain’s Bar offer diverse spaces for socialising and scenic views from outdoor seating areas.

Beyond dining, Mein Schiff Flow will emphasise open, interconnected outdoor spaces, including a shaded pool deck and an infinity pool at the ship’s aft.

These areas are designed to evoke a sense of tranquility through natural lighting and airflow, complementing the ship’s extensive spa and wellness areas.

TUI’s “Premium Inclusive Services” covers most meals and drinks, adding to the relaxed, all-inclusive experience onboard.

“We are delighted that we can meet the increasing demand for cruises with the Mein Schiff Flow. Our ninth newbuild is based on the Mein Schiff Relax, which also belongs to the InTUItion class,” said Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises.

“The eponymous ‘Flow’ is reflected in the entire design of the ship, as well as in the special atmosphere onboard, making it easy to let go, relax and slow down,” he said.

Mein Schiff Flow will be TUI Cruises third new ship in as many years, representing a 60 percent increase in overall fleet capacity.

“This constant and sustainable expansion is part of our long-term strategy, in particular to serve the growing demand for experience-oriented cruises,” said Meier. “The expansion of the fleet not only creates more capacity but also enables us to reach different target groups and open up new markets.”

In addition to running on LNG, Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow will be equipped with improved catalytic converters and a shore power connection.
