Cunard Line reveals 40 new itineraries for 2026/27 including Cape Town and Durban

Cunard Line has revealed 40 new itineraries for the 2026/27 cruise season, including voyages from Cape Town, and port calls to Durban in South Africa.

The new itineraries feature 101 unique destinations across 57 countries, including 62 UNESCO World Heritage sites, with 22 overnight port calls and 26 late evening departures.

Among the highlights are two maiden calls for the fleet: Ferrol, Spain and Acajutla, El Salvador – both aboard Queen Victoria. Bookings open at 1pm on October 17th, 2024. Cunard World Club members have early access to bookings from 1pm on October 16th, 2024.

Queen Victoria will call in Durban for the first time

Queen Victoria will set sail on a 109-night world cruise in January 2027, calling at cultural capitals such as Hong Kong, Sydney and Cape Town. The ship will also make maiden calls to Dakar in Senegal and Durban in South Africa.

“We are hugely excited to reveal our exciting new programme from October 2026 to April 2027, offering exceptional choice for every traveller,” said Katie McAlister, President of Cunard. “Whether you’re soaking up the excitement in Rio during Carnival or toasting New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam, Cunard’s voyages allow you to explore the world in unparalleled luxury.”

Queen Anne will make its maiden call to South America as part of the 78-night South America Discovery voyage, which includes an overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as well as maiden calls to Casablanca in Morocco and Bridgetown in Barbados.

Queen Mary 2

Queen Mary 2 will continue to offer transatlantic crossings across the year. Highlights include the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Santiago de Compostela on a tour from Ferrol and an overnight call in Mindelo on the Cape Verde island of Sao Vicente.

Queen Elizabeth will continue to operate a Caribbean programme from Miami in late 2026 and 2027, with a variety of 7-, 9-, and 14-night voyages. Curacao and Antigua are both home to protected architecture, while Florida offers the chance for passengers to explore the Everglades wetlands preserve.

Guests who book one of Cunard’s new voyages between October 16th and December 9th, 2024 will receive a 10% early booking saving. This offer is valid for selected voyages departing between October 15th, 2026 and April 30th, 2027 when booking a Cunard Fare or Early Saver Fare.
