MSC Cruises announces entertainment line-up aboard new MSC Euribia

MSC Cruises has announced that its upcoming new ship MSC Euribia will feature seven different live productions a week in its Delphi Theatre, along with a 19-piece big band at sea.

MSC Euribia is the cruise line’s third Meraviglia-Plus class vessel, a sister ship to MSC Grandiosa and MSC Virtuosa, and is due to enter service in June as the second LNG-powered MSC ship after MSC World Europa.

In addition to the new theatrical shows and big band, MSC Euribia will also offer a number of games and activities for guests of all ages.

MSC Euribia

“We are so excited to announce our fun-filled entertainment offerings on our much-anticipated new flagship, MSC Euribia,” said Steve Leatham, global head of entertainment at MSC Cruises. “Entertainment is a fundamental part of MSC Cruises’ guest experience and we’re always looking for new, engaging ways to delight our guests of all ages.”

“We strive to create exceptional and immersive concepts combined with varied entertainment programs to ensure that our guests will remember their cruise as the ultimate holiday experience,” he added.

The ship’s Carousel Lounge, for example, has been redesigned for MSC Euribia, and will host the cruise line’s new entertainment concept, Big Band at Sea.

This in-house group of musicians and singers will give three live performances every night, with each show featuring a different genre from jazz and rock, to disco and musicals.

Delphi Theatre aboard MSC Euribia

Unlike the theatre productions, during which there are set times for the doors to close, the band’s performances will be available to visiting guests, so passengers can come and go as they please.

The Delphi Theatre program aboard MSC Euribia will include: Circus 1920; Generation Rock, (featuring hit songs from stars such as David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Kiss, AC/DC and Journey); Illuminicity; Jukebox L!ve (with vocalists showcasing funk, soul and rock n’ roll); Song Book – Ed Sheeran; Variety (with guest entertainers, musicians, acrobats and a resident cast); and Guest Entertainers.
