Disney The Little Mermaid and Seas the Adventure will both debut in the Walt Disney Theatre aboard Disney Wish.

Disney Little Mermaid is described as Broadway-style take on the 1989 Disney Animation film developed exclusively for the Disney Wish.

According to the cruise line, guests will rediscover the familiar scenes, music and characters of the movie, while experiencing the story “like never before”.

According to the press release, Disney The Little Mermaid will feature “innovative theatrical design, dazzling special effects, artistic choreography, and a reimagined script and score.”

Seas the Adventure, meanwhile, will be performed on the first night of each cruise. According to Disney, the show will feature a cast of bold, brave and brilliant Disney and Pixar friends and will move from the theatre into the Grand Hall.

These shows join the already-announced reimagined adaptation of Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular. The musical comedy is based on the Disney Animation tale of Aladdin meeting the Genie, battling the evil Jafar and falling in love with Princess Jasmine.

The cruise line said that the theater will be equipped with “state-of the-art technology, including the most robust projection mapping capabilities of any Disney ship” and a Dolby Atmos 3D audio system to create a “transformative theatrical experience.”

The upper decks party will be held as a rock-and-roll extravaganza, featuring live music, stunts and special effects.

Disney Wish will sail her inaugural voyage on June 9th, 2022, followed by a season of 3- and 4-night cruises to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, from Port Canaveral, Florida.
