Silversea Cruises has put the focus on Arabian and Africa in its 2023/24 cruise itineraries, which were released this week.
The Middle East and African cruises are among 280 new itineraries the cruise line has revealed for its 2023/2024 seasons.

The cruise itineraries will visit 690 destinations in 125 countries, across all seven continents, as well as over 60 maiden calls.
Until November 30, 2021, guests can reserve their suites aboard voyages in Silversea’s new 2023/2024 itinerary collection with a reduced deposit of just 15%.
“Responding to strong guest demand for a broad range of far-flung destinations, our new 2023/2024 itineraries will offer guests even more opportunities to discover the world’s most enriching experiences in all seven continents,” said Roberto Martinoli, President & CEO, Silversea.
“From deep explorations of the Red Sea to new itineraries in the Arabian Peninsula, new autumnal departures in the Norwegian Fjords, and our first summer sailings in Canada and New England, we have utilized nearly three decades of destination leadership to curate unforgettable experiences for our well-travelled guests,” he added.

The expanded cruise itineraries are possible thanks to the addition of three new vessels to the Silversea fleet during the last two years, with Silver Origin, Silver Moon, and Silver Dawn all having come into service during 2019 and 2020.
Among the key offerings:
18 voyages to Africa and the Indian Ocean, including all-new Arabian Peninsula voyages
38 voyages to 134 destinations in Northern Europe, including Silversea’s first expeditions in the Baltic Sea
36 voyages, including a Grand Voyage, aboard four ships for an extended season in the Mediterranean
Increased variety in Alaska, with 31 voyages aboard two ships, including maiden calls
Silversea’s first summer itineraries in Canada and New England, including calls in Quebec, Montreal, and Boston
12 expeditions to the Arctic and Greenland, with a 24-day crossing of the Northwest Passage
17 departures for Antarctica, from Cape Horn from Puerto Williams
25 departures for Australia and New Zealand, with maiden calls, new itineraries and a farewell season in the Kimberley for Silver Explorer
A set of 16 voyages devoted to Asia, offering the chance to visit Japan during the cherry blossom season
Four voyages to South America aboard Silver Explorer and Silver Wind
15 voyages to the Caribbean and Central America aboard Silver Shadow and Silver Dawn
50 expeditions aboard Silver Origin in the Galapgos
The cruises in the Middle East and Africa include nine cruises to or from Dubai between 2021 and 2024 and fourteen cruises to or from Cape Town, South Africa. This in addition to cruises that feature Aqaba, Tanzania, Mumbai and other ports in the region as departure ports.
