Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled the refreshed design of The Haven complex aboard Norwegian Epic following the ship’s refit and refurbishment last year.
The Haven complex was thoroughly modernised and re-imagined during the Norwegian Epic refit and refurbishment, with new suites, a refreshed pool area and a re-design of the restaurant.

The Norwegian Epic refit and refurbishment was carried out last year, but the details were only announced now by the cruise line, ahead of Norwegian Epic’s return to service with seven-night Western Mediterranean itineraries out of Barcelona from September 5th, 2021 through October 24th, 2021.
The Norwegian Epic refit and refurbishment was carried out in Marseille, France at the end of 2020.
Norwegian Epic was the first ship in the fleet to premiere Norwegian Cruise Line’s key-card access ship-within-a-ship concept in 2010.
The Haven Courtyard Pool and Sundeck aboard Norwegian Epic will offer The Haven guests a redesigned experience, following its recent renovation.
The private enclave for suite guests comes complete with private amenities, dedicated services and the most luxurious accommodations on board.
The Norwegian Epic refit and refurbishment resulted in 75 reimagined and upgraded suites combined with redesigned experiences including The Haven Restaurant and The Haven Courtyard Pool and Sundeck.
Norwegian Epic now features one of the largest The Haven complexes in the Norwegian fleet.

“Norwegian Epic’s redesign is a testament to our unwavering commitment to extraordinary quality and elevating the standard of excellence across our fleet,” he added.
Norwegian Epic was the third-largest cruise ship in the world when she built in 2009 and marked Norwegian Cruise Line’s entry to the mega-ship cruise line club, then dominated by Carnival Corporation and Royal Caribbean.
She remains the only cruise ship in the world with a tube and bowl water slide, but also features a rappelling wall and a three-lane bowling alley together with a 17 °F (−8 °C) Ice Bar where customers have to wear parkas because it’s so cold.

So they only refurbished the Haven section in 2020, nothing else on the ship??
