QE2 Spa is first of a range of exciting new leisure amenities to open aboard floating hotel

The QE2 Dubai announced Monday that its on-board spa is now open and fully operational, with a number of “relaxing massages and results-orientated facials” on offer.

“The QE2 Spa is a boutique wellness centre operated by Dreamworks Spa, with a range of treatments delivered by highly trained Balinese therapists,” QE2 Dubai says of the spa.

Guests can choose from a selection of massages including full body, Thai and the ultimate indulgence – a Four Hands Wave Massage.

There are also specialized facial treatments, such as an Aroma Active Facial or the Babor facial collection, a therapy designed specifically for men. The Babor facial collection will be available in October, 2018.

“Upgrade your experience with an essential add on including a Hot Stone Indulgence, foot or scalp massage or an eye sculping treatment,” says QE2 Dubai.

The QE2 Spa is located where the original spa aboard QE2 was located during her time as an ocean liner, on Deck 1 aft, with access via E Stairwell.

The QE2 Spa is open from 10am – 10pm daily. Guests can contact the team directly at +971 (0)4 526 8821, or email spa@qe2.com.

The opening of the QE2 Spa is the first of a series of new leisure amenities to be launched aboard QE2 Dubai in the coming weeks.

Ahead of her grand opening in October, the QE2 Gym & Pool will soon be opened. The ship’s original 9-metre indoor pool will be brought back to life as part of a new state-of-the-art sports zone with a wide selection of cardio equipment by TechnoGym as well as free weights, mats and specialised classes.

The Dubai Duty Free Shopping Arcade on the deck above the Grand Lounge will also be opened soon. It will feature a selection of duty free products, including jewellery, electronics, confectionary, designer fashion and a unique collection of QE2 memorabilia.

Most exciting of all however is the QE2 Beach, a private beach designed exclusively for Passengers of the QE2 Dubai. The 500-metre island off the coast of Port Rashid (where QE2 Dubai is docked) will only be accessible by boat and will include its own dedicated beach bar.
